Loving the Candid

The human spirit needs places where nature
has not been rearranged by the hand of man

Photo Credit to Lawrence at Capones Island on our way to the lighthouse
I love this photo. It's so candid. Lawrence walked ahead of us and he hid himself behind a big rock. He took endless shots from his then newly acquired baby cannon camera. We couldn't pay any attention when we discovered because we had to watched our steps. The rocks were not slippery but combined with sands, they were. Not to mention the pointed surface our feet endured. Big man also reminded us to take only pictures and leave only goodness...like I was in Good Shepherd uhhh?

Sweet Strawberries

A healthy outside starts from the inside
Robert Urich
It's just so sad we're not able to make it to the strawberry farm on our Baguio trip due to the weather condition. If we did make it, we can pick them ourselves, but unfortunately we didn't so we we ended up buying in the market.  Don't worry though, they're still fresh and sweet and smell so great!

Reminiscing the Past

If we are always arriving and departing, it is also true that we are eternally anchored.
One's destination is never a place, but rather a new way of looking at things.
-Henry Miller
It's such a bliss to go back to places close to our hearts. It's been a dream for me to visit Baguio again. The last time I step foot on the summer capital was when I was 5 years old. Going back to Mines View Park reminded me of my days in Baguio as a child and how afraid I am of the towering heights below the deck. But now I felt happiness and gratitude instead of fear of heights.

Memory of the Past

It's not good because it's old
it's old because it's good
-Anonymous

The photo was taken at Fort Santiago in Intramuros during the birthday celebration of my friend. I felt a different kind of bliss because it's in this stage of my life that I come to appreciate the beauty of the place and of my heritage.

A Quiet Place

The voyage of discovery is not in seeking new landscapes
but in having new eyes.

Sunrise in Borawan

There are more to life than EXTERNAL BEAUTY.
What is more important in life is the SWEET FRAGRANCE OF CHARACTER

Coconuts and the Sand

"Adapt the pace of nature: her secret is patience"

If you are looking for an accessible place near Manila where you can rest and pamper yourself with salt water, you can try Munting Buhangin in Batangas. This is the resort where we had our company outing and team building.
